Semen 57

The aim of this issue of Semen is to examine testimony as a fact of language and discourse, based on the various approaches made possible by the development of research in language sciences and related disciplines that are interested in languages in the variety of their manifestations: oral/written testimony, iconic testimony, audiovisual testimony or testimony in other media forms.

By highlighting contexts in which human rights are violated and hatred of others is manifested, it seeks to analyse the semiotic and discursive characteristics of testimonies by crossing enunciative, rhetorical and argumentative perspectives.
