Summary

No-one would deny that Germany is a real footballing nation, yet German football remains relatively unknown in France.
Beyond the impressive history of the national team and two or three internationally renowned clubs, what do we really know about how our neighbours live out their passion for the game on a daily basis?
For a long time, there has no doubt been a lack of desire to get to know German football better, to better understand how it fits into the country's turbulent history, how it has taken root in society, and the varied landscape of cities in which it is celebrated week after week in a large number of high-quality stadiums.
UEFA EURO 2024 is an excellent opportunity to fill these gaps: this travel guide will immerse you in the football culture of the ten cities hosting the event. It will allow you to get to know better a country that breathes football and is looking forward to offering it a great European celebration.
