A dense information network developed on the European continent between the 15th and 18th centuries. The authors gathered here analyze this network from multiple perspectives - historical, bibliographic, communicative, linguistic... - and from different geographical approaches - France, Flanders, Spain, Austria, Poland, the Far East... - but reducing the focus to a single year, 1621, full of important events for the History of Europe. This novel approach allows us to obtain precise knowledge about the news that circulated in 1621, the media through which it was disseminated, the motivations of its propagators and its impact on the emerging public opinion of the moment.
