- Summary
-
This volume brings together the proceedings of the international conference "Algebraic Geometry, Number Theory and Applications" (GTA), which was held from 16 to 20 August 2021 at the University of French Polynesia. Important advances were presented in various fields, including the theory of global fields, algebraic geometry over finite fields, the theory of modular forms and abelian varieties, Drinfeld modules and information theory. Many of the research topics discussed were close to the heart of our late colleague Alexey Zykin, and we wanted to pay tribute to him with this even.
